Many people do not know who a snipe is. Snipes are engineers on warships who live hard lives that in turn, create hard sailors. Snipes do not live lives of decadence and luxury, instead living within the very brimstone of a warship's beating heart. If a snipe fails to do their job, the warship doesn't leave the pier. If a snipe slacks off just a little bit, the entire warship can go dark in seconds. This story is a brief glimpse into the life of a snipe.
