Publisher's Synopsis
Tom and Melanie, two people in a community torn by the miners' strike, are friends. His father is a 'scab', her father is a strike leader. They are conscious of the moral dilemmas involved. When they discover a dangerous plot arising from the miners' conflict they know they must act together.
