Publisher's Synopsis

The Story of Ebenezer Scrooge and The Christmas Carol has been a mainstay of Fiction writers for 177 years. Charles Dicken wrote this novel in 1843, and every Christmas time, I am inspired to watch movies made to commemorate this genius's story, in one way or another. It's based on a very stingy miser that mistreats the townsfolk, taking their last shilling or precious family trinkets or gold to fill his pockets. All because he is the richest man in town and holds their very lives in his hand with mortgage payments or personal loans over their heads. I have already written one short story of another version of this famous tale called "Horus Scrooge" but wished to try another version. This story will not be set in London as most are, but in the old Western town of Tombstone, Arizona, around 1895. I hope you enjoy this fictional Christmas story. It's about a 68-year-old man named Edward Sneezer Stooge. A man born in Salem, Massachusetts but made his fortune in the Arizona mining companies and was so rich and stingy that he took advantage of Tombstone's homesteaders and townfolk. Even though the story seems depressing at first, the situation will turn into a humorous effort. This my second rendition of "The Christmas Carol."
