Publisher's Synopsis
One surprising day in her kitchen Abby Carnelia, an otherwise ordinary fifth-grader, makes an surprising discovery - she has a magical power! Unfortunately, her power is completely useless: all she can do is make a hard-boiled egg spin on the table by itself. In her quest to figure out what this power means, Abby finds herself at a special Magic Camp where she meets children who have similarly useless magical powers. It quickly becomes apparent, though, that something strange is going on at the camp. And in order to escape, Abby and her new friends have to pool their talents to escape, but not before Abby makes an astonishing realization: every one of us has a magical power. We just have to figure out what it is.
