Slate Enterprise's is a giant construction conglomerate that has been on an indeterminate financial downward spiral for a lengthy period of time, reaching toward an unacceptable terminal bankruptcy. Jack Slate the founder and CEO with an excellent management team including a blind computer genius, have been totally unable to solve the problem-other than narrow down the probability that the answer to the dilemma must lie somewhere in their the huge construction material production and storage complex in Paxton, Tennessee. Experience and intuition has lead Jack to believe the newest addition to his management team, Scott Richards, is the only individual with even a hint of a chance of success in solving the conundrum. Since Scott still suffers from total amnesia, totally unsuspected by everyone around him, he must be convinced to take on the challenge. After which, he reluctantly leaves for Paxton, Tennessee with only the memories he has were created in Alabama to rush into the unknown with the personal expectation of little or no success His only champion in this unwelcome quest will be a stranger he discovered himself to be when he first woke up in a cold, strange motel room in Mosston, Alabama.
