And Qgtintil/ian fpeaks of certain profe-writers tn his Time, who boafted that their Compofitions were (0 firié'tly Numerous, that their Heaters might even beat Time to their Meafures. And it fhould feem that even in Tully's Time this Matter was carryed to Excefs fince even then the Orators dealt lo much in Numbers that it was made a Qefiion, wherein they differed from the Poets.
