Samantha Mather moves from New York to Salem with her stepmother. She is not exactly received with open arms. The shadow of Cotton Mather, one of the instigators of the Salem Witch Trials, hangs over her. The descendents of those who lost their lives over 300 years ago will not forgive anyone even remotely related to him.
