Dimitris Kalogerou, a confirmed bachelor, lawyer, best friend, and co-owner of Manos Alexiou, after a bad disagreement with Manos he decided to move permanently to New York leading his father's law firm there.
Manos Alexiou, the owner of the first dairy and most successful company of Greece, after his divorce with his American wife, decided to keep their only daughter secret from American and Greece media.
Manos' murder attempt left him in a coma and caused to Kalogerou numerous troubles, mostly with Manos' daughter. Alina is obliged to return to Greece.
After their first meeting, they disliked each other. Alina opposed to Kalogerou's pressure of running her father's company with him. Another problem is that Alina could be the murderer's next victim. Kalogerou decided to keep Manos' secret even from the police as long as he can to protect her.
But after Manos' death, Alina devastated decided to run the company according to Kalogerou's expectations. Alina and Dimitris found their way to love until the day that someone kidnapped her. Kalogerou went crazy after Alina's kidnap. Alina managed to escape, the kidnapper turned to be the ex-wife of Manos' major competitor and his, secretly in love for years, a secretary who committed suicide.
In the end, Alina and Dimitris are together expecting their first child while she finds out that her father is alive after a trick among the Police, Dimitris Kalogerou and Alina's mother.
