Publisher's Synopsis
Ten years ago Ben Cook embarked on the Found Paintings project, exploring the chance faults in textile off-cuts. On first sight the works take the form of richly coloured abstract paintings. Close up they are revealed to be flawed printed textiles. This text follows the exhibition of Cook's work that toured from 2002-2004.
