The 50th anniversary of the Bretton Woods conference, from which emerged the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, occurs in 1994. Many academics feel that these international financial institutions have done and continue to do more harm than good and should be disbanded. This book pursues this argument providing an analysis of the global economy and offers alternatives to the existing system.
