Publisher's Synopsis
A truly comprehensive visual reference, this new CD Atlas contains 4,000 carefully selected images showing the whole spectrum of ophthalmological disorders. Selected disorders are illustrated using several images that present both the early and late stages of the disease, as well as variations of presentation. This CD also includes the results of investigations used to arrive at the diagnosis, and it still shows real-time fluorescein angiography where appropriate. Each image includes a caption listing the pertinent details of the patient's case history together with the diagnosis. The user can easily access the collection by disorder/disease, anatomical site or investigation, or by searching for key words. Excellent for self-assessment, the CD allows the user to select a random image for inspection, and to then reveal the corresponding caption with diagnosis.
