The purpose of this volume is to mark IJGE's first decade and lay the foundation for several more. We have invited the scholars published in this volume to nominate young talented scholars whose work we will platform in next year's ebook, thus establishing a legacy beyond their own scholarship and emphasizing the importance of mentorship and leadership in advancing a field.
