On 7 June 2012, McClean County Illinois was wracked with what was being touted as a labor dispute within a local factory. Here we meet John Doe, a recently-graduated kid from the northern suburbs of the state who suddenly finds himself in the middle of something he doesn't understand. Along with fifty six other people, John enters the structure that is the source of all the commotion. Three weeks pass. For those outside, all is quiet and tense. For John and the others who entered, it is a living nightmare; a hell on earth that they must survive, against obstacles both human and inhuman. Fifty seven went into Complex 549.
