This SPCC provides occupational thera-pists at both the entry and intermediate skill levels with available resource in dysphagia care written from an occupa-tional therapy perspective. This course educates occupational therapy practitioners at the entry level who have the academic foundation without dysphagia intervention experience, to provide skilled care and assist practitioners who are already providing skilled intervention to advance their expertise by broadening their knowledge of interventions and approaches with dysphagia clients. Includes a DVD illustrating the phases of swallowing.
