Publisher's Synopsis
State/Craft: Earth @ Stake is a tech-heavy action packed story, set mostly in twenty-second century California. The earth is infested with alien invaders. We are at war, our side fighting for survival and theirs for gain, with the Earth at Stake. So what is going on? The enemy aliens are gaining control of machines, abusing them to take us down. We have our representative superheroes fighting on our behalf. The necessary powers are bestowed upon them by a visiting benefactor who takes them on an intergalactic round trip to boost them up. In exchange for the powers gained, they end up paying a heavy price, of extreme personal sacrifice. It doesn't stop here though. We're just getting started!
