Publisher's Synopsis
This Act establishes four pilot regions in England where (for the purpose of piloting of innovative voting methods) the elections for the European Parliament in 2004 and, local government elections in England and Wales where these are combined with the 2004 European Parliamentary elections, will be held by a postal voting system only. The pilot regions are: the North East, the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber, and the North West.
