This is one of a series of first information books intended for the beginner and developing reader in which three children find some frog spawn and take it home and keep it in an aquarium. This book follows the life cycle of the frog using text, illustrations and photographs. The intention of the book is to bridge the gap between fiction and non-fiction, and thus enable the child to understand and enjoy the subject at the same time.
