Publisher's Synopsis
Throughout mankind children have been the innocent victims of war. The attrocitiies, peril, and chaos that accompany conflict is the genesis of this book. It is also about my interaction with the orphans and displaced families that I share with great pride. My experiences in Viet Nam, Africa and Iraq are chonicled for review. The memories and emotional toll are mine to bear and a reminder that children do not cause war but are the victims of it.
