Publisher's Synopsis
Gigi: Big Sister is the tale of a little girl who is super excited about her baby sister, Birdie, becoming her new best friend. However, Gigi is faced with the harsh reality that... well, newborns just aren't all that much fun. It's kind of like trying to be best friends with a potato (if potatoes cried all the time and pooped everywhere). But Gigi soon discovers that
infants do have a few redeeming qualities (her new baby sis is good at staring contests and cloud watching), and if Gigi can just have a little patience, Birdie will eventually acquire all the skills she needs to participate in Gigi's wishlist of fun sister activities (nail painting, sleepovers, baking cookies)! And, best of all, Gigi will be there to experience all the cool milestones as Birdie achieves them: clapping, talking, even learning to say Gigi's name! In fact, Birdie is the one who gives Gigi her moniker when she can't pronounce "Georgie."
