My first disclaimer is that this book is based on an eleven year process. If your student, who we will call child throughout this book, will change their college major more than, I would say underwear but we know children do not always change their underwear, their mind then this instruction manual may not work. One of the most powerful driving factors in college application success is in having a "story". My student, daughter, developed a magnificent story built through trials, tribulations, and triumphs. In some circles this is known as your "why". It is the reason why she has maintained incredible focus for the past 12 years and is now attending the college of my, I mean her, dreams. These processes are what I attribute to her starting college at our local community college in flyover Kansas, and culminating in her acceptance to the number one school in her field in the United States. We have been told often that no-one has ever seen a college path quite like ours, and we would like to share so that you, and your child, can dream big dreams.
