How to Not Ruin Your Life While in Middle or High School....Keeping Out of Harm's Way was created from both my regular teaching and substitute teaching when I became aware that preteens and teens had either little information or no information on topics they would be making decisions about in the near future: internet safety, gangs and violence, police, drugs and alcohol, bullying, abusive relationships, negative and positive peer pressure, positive choices, the law and when to seek help. This is a short "easy to read" 36 pages for students to read on their own, for parents, and as a teaching guide and discussion tool for teachers.
