Publisher's Synopsis
In the 1930s in the south, the tribulation of a young colored woman takes place as she gives birth to a white baby girl. It was a time when segregation and prejudicial acts were openly practiced and a child of this nature would have been treated as an outcast to be ridiculed and made shame of. Not wanting this for her baby, she made the heartfelt decision to leave her at the doorsteps of an orphanage, thereafter a plightful life journey begins.
