'In Saving A Soul' is an intense 3rd person character study which follows the extreme emotional and spiritual collapse of a successful family after the death of the patriarch. Set against a backdrop of scriptural interpretation and Godly and familial responsibilities, the youngest son, a preacher, is forced to resolve the issues of depression, drug addiction and suicide within the family. As he attempts to lead his family members towards salvation in the process of helping them to cope with their grief, he blurs the lines of scriptural intention and jeopardizes his own salvation in the process. His story is not that of a fallen church leader, but rather the story of a loving son and brother who loses himself in his attempt to help the others; and begs the question: How far would any of us go 'In Saving A Soul'?
