This kit aims to foster children's natural curiosity about the world and helps them understand how science forms a major part of their lives. The kit contains 150 experiments and four activity books that explore balance, change, force and movement, and the human body. The books are based on one fundamental principle: that children rapidly develop an understanding of scientific ideas when they are stiumulated to think, plan and carry out investigations for themselves.;Contents include: a teacher's guide to using the kit; a full-colour Big Notebook with re-usable acetate sheet; 16 photocopiable cards to make small, individual copies of the Big Notebook; a curriculum booklet; and a storage box. Four full-colour hardbacks are also included, as well as four bigger versions of the same titles: "Make it Balance", "Make it Change", Make it Go", and "Me and My Body".
