Is there a difference between teasing and bullying? Pony-tailed Izzy stumbles through her school year pestered by annoying Moose Boy's pranks. Just when she decides that he is totally horrible, she learns that a few girls actually like him. Izzy can't understand why girls would like a boy who pulls pranks and resembles the silly moose picture on her bedroom wall. At the same time, mean old Mrs. Boomholler, a teacher with pink poodle hair and pointy blue glasses, torments Izzy's class and their fun-loving teacher, Mr. Overly. What happens with Moose Boy and Mrs. B. is pure childhood bumbling at its best. Mole guts, a cupcake eating mouse, and Bubblegum Mountain add hilarity to the school year capers. In the end, Izzy learns the truth about Moose Boy, Mrs. Boomholler... and herself.
