Publisher's Synopsis
When Josephine's boyfriend, Jimmy, up and leaves her with no more than a letter taped to the mirror and last night's mess, it's only the beginning of a terrible day. Betrayed and suddenly jobless, Josephine heads out in Jimmy's boat to end it all. Just as she's about to give her life to the cold ocean in the middle of the night, an old man in a white tuxedo appears on the boat with an invitation that spurs her to head home.
Before she can make it back to the filthy apartment, she is accosted and kidnapped, but she isn't the only one in the back of the van. Family man, Marion Lee, was traveling for work when he was taken by the two human traffickers. As it turns out, their escape is just the first step in Josephine's divine journey and Marion is just the first friend to help her fight the forces of evil in the world. Josephine has been invited to her destiny and accepting means fighting her inner demons as well as outer ones in order to set the world on a brighter path.
