Laura Whitson lives in Adel, Iowa with her husband, Ryan, and their four children. Illustrator biography Tucked into the Iowa countryside, where the sky is painted with beautiful color as the sun rises and sets and is illuminated with the moonlight and stars, where the soft knickers of horses, sweet songs of birds, and roosters crows are heard, is a century old farmhouse that Jessica Lockhart calls home. Along with her husband, Cody, daughter, Piper, and their array of animals great and small, she enjoys the beauty and simplicity that their acreage, and all that goes into caring for it, brings. An avid equestrian, gardener, and lover of all things nature, she is most often found outside with dirt under her nails, soaking in God's beauty wherever she looks.
