Haru gives the signal and the dance begins. Legs, shoulders, looks, hands, and then the bow. Relaxation, concentration, and observation. Everyone breathes at the same time and pauses to remain calm. Nothing distracts them. Neither the flight of the birds nor the swing of the branches. At the same time, the four arrows fly off to their destinations, just as the dancing students will do once they leave the dojo.
