Publisher's Synopsis
Megan could always count on her brothers, though Dan was consistently more reliable than Jimmy, but Jimmy wasn't as bossy as the oldest. With her thirteenth birthday approaching, Megan wants almost nothing besides Dan to see she's not a little kid anymore, that, and hoping he'll take her to her favorite author's book signing. But, between her middling concerns, the bandaged family Dan fought to hold together, following their mother's death and throughout years of abuse at the hands of Megan's father, starts being torn apart.
