The book is written from the perspective of person who is neither a preacher, pastor or bible scholar. It is written to the person who is curious about prayer and wants to dig deeper into the basics of prayer and what the Bible has to say about prayer It also offers a personal glimpse into an ordinary person's prayer life and walk with God. This book is not intended to be a scholarly tome on prayer (there are plenty of fine examples of those). It is intended to offer a basic overview and guide to prayer.
