Lord Bygraves left the Ministry on Friday evening, with plans for a fortnight's holiday in the country. But the following morning he had seemingly vanished into thin air. Now Scotland Yard are struggling to find evidence of foul play in the absence of tangible clues. A national newspaper is offering a reward for information about the Minister's disappearance - whether Bygraves be dead or alive. Anthony 'Algernon' Vereker, Lord Bygraves' friend and executor, joins Scotland Yard in their investigation of the mystery.
