For Jayde, though, clothing serves an even bigger purpose. It is through clothes that Jayde expresses their style, their personality and their identity - something they weren't able to do at their old school so much because of the school's dress code. So, when Jayde imagines the move to the new school - one that doesn't have a uniform - they become excited to share more of their individuality with everyone; that is, until they realize that not everyone is as jazzed about their clothing as they are.
