"Nelson Mathematics" is a scheme offering support for all of the UK Mathematics curricula. It allows primary teachers the opportunity to teach mathematics with confidence knowing that they will be supported by the Nelson policy of offering updates for all curricula.;The scheme is structured but flexible, and fully supports the non-specialist teacher. Following the review of the National Curriculum by Sir Ron Dearing in 1994, Nelson is offering a free National Curriculum update pack for existing users of "Nelson Mathematics".;This photocopiable worksheets pad and folder pack: encourages an exploratory approach through a blend of closed and open tasks; allows varied ways of recording; features a limited amount of text on the pages, so that children's enjoyment of mathematics is not affected by their reading ability; and key vocabulary is highlighted.
