This is a set of 80 self-contained copymasters which can be used as part of the "New Steps" course or on their own, to facilitate language learning. They cover basic language points as well as the language of Shakespeare, other cultures, other centuries, writing for newspapers, the language of filling in forms and more.;The copymasters provide a guide through the range of technical terms for Key Stage 3, from suffixes to synonyms, from adjectives to acronoyms. They are suitable for full-class work or for smaller groups working on their own at different paces. Many of the sheets are starting points for discussion on a particular aspect of language, so they should stimulate an interest in the whole structure of language and lead on to more extended work.
