Publisher's Synopsis
In his installations, Eliasson addresses the physical laws and phenomena of the natural world. Water and light, air and colour are amongst the basic elements in his works, which not only explore physical structures but also constitute experiments with models of human perception and our images of the environment. His artificially created 'natural' phenomena - rainbows, wind, waterfalls, reflections and spirals - are both aesthetically and intellectually fascinating and subtle. This publication presents Olafur Eliasson's most recent output - works that continue to throw our perceptive faculties off-balance.
