Publisher's Synopsis
In Petrichor, de Varona explores the ventures of love through three stages: the eye, the storm, and the drought. Through each poem, de Varona creates an intertwined story of finding love, becoming consumed by it, and then learning to live without it once love is lost. De Varona is able to take such a personal but universal experience and magnify it on a larger scale in hopes of inspiring reflection amongst her readers.
