The psalmist in Psalm 92:1-2 writes: "It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name Oh Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night."
Praising the Lord is the best way to start the day. Devotionals are good, and so is a Bible reading.
But the Lord is blessed when you praise him. And it makes you feel good too!
I use Psalms to praise the Lord. But other sources are good too. I hope that you will not only read these poems for enjoyment, but that you read them out loud praising him, showing forth your love to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
