The city of Revere is comprised of 3,750 acres along the Atlantic Ocean and is situated midway between the cities of Lynn and Boston. The geographic area that is currently called Revere was first known as Rumney Marsh. The earliest inhabitants of this area were the Rumney Marsh Indians belonging to the Pawtucket Tribe of a great nation called Aberginians.
