Publisher's Synopsis
The relationship between the drama text and the theatre text as well as the differences between the stage variants of a drama text with special consideration of the diversity of variants in this process form the focus of this work. Schimmelpfennig's drama "Auf der Greifswalder Strasse", directed by Jurgen Gosch (2006) and its theatrical transformation are at the centre of these considerations.
