Sensei Taka's research led to insights in working with people, families, and children that differs from the conventional teaching methods of Karate or Martial Arts Dojos (schools). Seishindo's foundation is in understanding that people want to be seen and accepted for who they are, and that we don't want to change their personality, but by allowing and being with them, we can influence positive growth in their mind, body, and spirit (emotional selves). The first part of this book (Book 1: Raising and Nurturing Teaching Method) is focused on the teaching methods of Seishindo.
The second part of this book (Book 2: Kata Kyohon) is focused on being a 'Kata Kyohon', or 'Kata Textbook', and delves into "How to Perform Kata Naturally", as well as breaking down and analyzing the meaning/purpose of the moves from Kata. Kata Kyohon will be more for the active practitioners of Karate. *Kata are the Traditional forms of Karate.
