She had no one who cared enough to encourage her, provide a positive outlook, or hope for a successful future. Without this hope, Pamela ended up in the Opa Locka check cashing gang in Miami, Florida. She was exposed to a life where she had the money her family desperately needed but this life included dangerous people, crimninal activity and drugs.
