As South and her new friends explore the ship, they encounter terrifying creatures and obstacles, from monstrous cooks in the kitchen to living dolls made from the skin of captured children. They also learn more about the four rulers of the ship - the ruthless Right Hand, the cunning Owl, the twisted Lady Gold, and the mysterious Eye himself.
Despite the danger and horror surrounding them, South and her friends refuse to give up hope. They use their wits, courage, and newfound friendship to outsmart their enemies and slowly unravel the mysteries of the Osiris.
