Publisher's Synopsis
This work focuses on the relationship between spatial interaction and spatial structure. In the 1970s, spatial analysts focused especially on the influence of spatial configuration on the distance-decay parameter estimated through the gravity model. However, most spatial analysts devoted their attention to obtaining pure parameter estimates without map pattern effects, which resulted in the spatial autocorrelation.;This study elucidates the interdependent relationship between spatial interaction and structure, setting it in the context of public facility locations.
