St Albans Bach Choir is considered to be one of the finest large choirs in Hertfordshire. Since our inaugural concert in 1924 we have performed a wide variety of the finest major choral works. This book explores the fascinating history, celebrates the wonderful music, and highlights some of the remarkable people who have contributed to the enduring success of the choir. In this our centenary year, we look back with gratitude to those who had the energy and vision to establish the choir 100 years ago, and we look forward with optimism to the next chapter of the choir's history.
