Publisher's Synopsis
The "Heinemann Mathematics" scheme has been developed by the authors of the primary course "SPMG", with the aim of building on established strengths to provide a structured development of children's mathematical knowledge and skills within the revised curricula. "Story Maths" is for nursery and reception classes and offers an introduction to early maths language and concepts. This class pack contains seven reversible, full-colour frieze cards that fit side-by-side to depict the inside and outside of a street scene; 12 laminated resource sheets which include cut-out characters and objects to use with the frieze cards, and a range of games and activity cards; and a guide containing the story lines for six theme-based units.
