This fencing manual, originally published in 1890, showcases high-level foil and sabre play, demonstrating how to make extensive use of the false edge while fencing. Murz' system is based on the guard of Prime and combines a high level of finesse with very strong striking power, and is an excellent example of a late-19th century military fencing manual prior to the widespread adaptation of Italian fencing in Hungary.
