Polish Belgian artist Tapta (1926-97) created "supple sculptures" through the introduction of textiles and other flexible materials as sculptural elements. Espaces souples situates Tapta's works alongside pieces by Greet Billet, Hana Miletic and Richard Venlet, which were inspired specifically by her practice.
