Strain wrote his first poem for the family Christmas card. Thirty four years later Steven H. Strain would carry forward the tradition when he penned his first Christmas card poem in 1996. Each poem brings to mind memories and events in the lives of these two generations of copious writers. Included are family photos of seasons long past, beloved pets and memorable times and places in the Strain family history.
