Publisher's Synopsis

The Circus Song is a chidren's book that tells the story of two farmhands at the turn of the nineteenth century who leave the farm to go into town, buy new suits, and then head to the circus, where they have many exciting adventures. The words of the book are actually the lyrics of a song written in 1891, which the author has adapted for this book. The song is on a CD at the back of the book. Each page of the book also has a "Circus Fun Fact" that tells someting factual about the circus in that era. The colorful illustrations were done by Blueberry Illustrations.
