THE DECLINE OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN IN THE RURAL BAPTIST CHURCH is an excellent manual for Rural Churches, the Black Male, and for Young Black males. Everyone has a story and reason to tell why Black men don't frequent or come to church. This book takes a look at some of those reasons and ventures even deeper with statistics and statements from others as to the decline of African American Males in the Rural Baptist Church.
The deeper look may be hard at first to take in because no one wants a finger pointed at them for possibly being a factor in the decline of African American males not coming to church. But, I pray that with this book now in your possession, you can address what I believe are "foundation issues" surrounding why African American males have chosen not to attend church.
